Daniel is also a folk/roots musician with more musical instruments than cameras — and he has a lot of cameras! He’s experienced at traveling the world on a shoestring budget and has celebrity status in a small town in New Zealand. In 2021 he built a house bus and drove to Colorado for a new start. He and his dog have since settled in to a Boulder home. Along with music and photography, he loves old Toyotas and snowboarding. He’s better at growing food than baking it (but he keeps trying). Why weddings? While he waits to retire as a driftwood carver on the Alaskan shore, weddings allow Daniel’s lenses to capture community life, local culture, music and commitment.
